Panel Discussion: Breaking down the prejudices: resolving conflicts in the Middle East
On September, 11, 2024, at 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (GMT +4) Russian Arbitration Center (RAC), together with Monckton Chambers and Horizons & Co., is pleased to invite you to our joint event in Dubai dedicated to the arbitration framework of the MENA Region.
The purpose of the panel discussion is to provide a general overview of possible obstacles that may prevent companies from resolving disputes in the MENA Region. The speakers will examine the current landscape and highlight the unique characteristics of the legal systems within the MENA region. They will also address other pertinent issues that practitioners may encounter, such as challenges related to fee payments, applicable laws, judicial support, and even the official language of the country.
At the end of the discussion, the audience will have the opportunity to explore the central question: are there genuine obstacles to dispute resolution in the MENA Region, or is the region still veiled by the prejudices and misconceptions?
