The Russian Federal Bar Association
The Russian Federal Bar Association coordinates the activity of bar chambers, provides high-quality legal assistance, represents interests of advocates in governmental authorities of the Russian Federation. The Russian Federal Bar Association participates in law-drafting activities, cooperates with committees of the Federation Council and the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, as well as the Commission on legislative drafting of the Government of the Russian Federation. The Russian Federal Bar Association is integrated into the international legal community. Among the most significant recent steps of the Russian Federal Bar Association are: joining the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) as the observer representative, cooperation with partners from the Asian region (China, Korea, Japan), strengthening of positions in the international professional organizations, specifically in the International Bar Association (IBA). The Russian Federal Bar Association has significantly promoted cooperation with the long-term foreign partners and has signed cooperation agreements that provide joint arrangements with advocate communities of Great Britain, Germany, France, Spain, etc.
The Foundation for Legal Education and Research
The Foundation for Legal Education and Research is engaged in the implementation and support of projects aimed at research and development of all the areas of international law and the science of international law. The Foundation is the founder of the autonomous non-profit organization "International and Comparative Law Research Center", which conducts research in the field of international public and private law and comparative law, as well as activities aimed at promoting the study of international law.
LF Academy
Legal Academy is an innovative educational project that was launched in 2016 under the name LF Academy. It combines the widest range of online education tools with unique content, such as lectures given by the leading experts of the global legal community. Legal Academy's collection includes video lectures, speeches, round tables devoted to current legal issues, also reviews and analysis of Russian and foreign legislation, as well as international legal regulation. For purposes of content management, Legal Academy cooperates with participants of the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, as well as with all leading Russian and foreign experts, law firms, and the best law schools.
International and Comparative Law Research Center
International and Comparative Law Research Center conducts research in the field of international law and comparative law on the issues of strategic importance for the Russian Federation and Russian companies. The Center implements various educational projects aimed at promoting the study of international law, also the Center is the organizer of the annual award "International Law in the 21st Century", and conducts seminars and conferences on the relevant topics. Within the framework of the Center's activities, it has created a library that provides access to information resources and books from leading world publishers. The constantly growing collection of the Center's library includes classical works and modern research on international public, private law and comparative law in different languages.
