RAC and SCIA Joint Event "China and Russia: International Commercial Arbitration"
On April 12, 2024, Russian Arbitration Center and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) held their first joint event "China and Russia: International Commercial Arbitration" in Shenzhen.
During the two sessions, speakers from Russia and China discussed a number of issues relevant in the context of transactions and disputes between Russian and Chinese parties, including the current landscape of international commercial arbitration in Russia and the difficulties faced by Russian companies as a result of restrictions, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in arbitration proceedings, the peculiarities of arbitration in the financial sphere and enforcement of arbitral awards in China.
