Maxim Kulkov is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov and Master of the University of Nottingham (UK) in International Commercial Arbitration.

Maxim has over 27 years of experience in representing clients in international commercial arbitrations (ICAC at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, SCC, ICC, LCIA) and Russian courts at all levels, including the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, as well as in foreign courts (England, USA, Jersey, BVI, Hong Kong, Cyprus, Switzerland). He has won more than a hundred disputes.

He has considered more than 47 cases in international commercial arbitrations and arbitration courts (ICAC, SCC, RSPP, RAC) in various roles: co-arbitrator, sole arbitrator and chairman of the panel of arbitrators.

Yury Babichev focuses on international arbitrations and cross-border litigations. Until 2022, Anna was a partner at KIAP law firm and headed the dispute resolution and international arbitration practice. Over the years of practice, Anna has represented clients in state courts and international arbitration in more than 400 proceedings.

Anna is the Deputy Chairman of the ICC Russia Arbitration Commission, a regional representative from Russia in the HK45 Committee at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC), was a regional representative from Russia in the Judicial Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) in 2016-2018, 2020-2022, was a member of the Russian Arbitration Center Board in 2017-2023.

Since 2008, he has been a partner and co-head of the International Arbitration and Litigation Practice at Egorov Puginsky Afanasiev & Partners.

He is a member of CIArb, RAC, International Board of the Arbitration Center at the RSPP; Vice President at the International Arbitration Court of the Qingdao Arbitration Commission in the SCO demonstration zone; member of KCAB INTERNATIONAL. Evgeny Is also a Solicitor for England and Wales.

Evgeny has published a significant number of articles on international arbitration and civil law in specialized Russian and international legal journals, as well as a number of comments on international arbitration issues from the Russian Federation.

He is a teacher of the master's program "Legal regulation of insolvency (bankruptcy)" of the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov, and of the course "Bankruptcy and International Arbitration".

Alexander leads the International Dispute Resolution Practice at Grebelsky & Partners. For more than 17 years, Alexander has specialized in resolving complex commercial and investment disputes in international arbitration and litigation arising from various kinds of transactions, including contracts for the international sale of goods, shipping, insurance and reinsurance, leasing, customs disputes, in recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitration awards and courts judgments, as well as setting arbitral awards aside.

Alexander has represented clients before the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, in arbitrations under the rules of numerous international arbitral institutions, and in ad hoc arbitrations, as well as before the Commercial Courts in Russia, and the European Court of Human Rights. 

Alexander is regularly invited to give his expert opinion on the application of foreign law in Russian courts (especially common law) and prepares his opinions on the application of Russian law for foreign courts and tribunals.

Alexander holds a Ph. D. in Law and combines practical activities with academic research and lecturing. He is an associate professor at MGIMO University (S.N. Lebedev Department of Private International and Civil Law), the oldest and most prestigious scientific school in Russia in such areas as International Law, Comparative Law, Private International Law, and International Commercial Arbitration. Alexander is actively involved in international arbitration, both as arbitrator and council. He is on the lists of arbitrators of the Arbitration Centre at the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) (where he chairs the Panel for International Disputes), the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission and several other arbitral institutions. 

He is the head of the Commission on Arbitration and ADR at the Moscow Branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia and the Deputy of the Commission on Arbitration at the Federal Association of Lawyers of Russia, as well as a member of the Russian Branch of the International Law Association.

Alexander acts as the Director of the Information Center of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, the leading intergovernmental organization engaged in the development of the most popular multilateral instruments which respond to global needs.

Maria graduated with a master's degree from the Russian School of Private Law, as well as a postgraduate degree from the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the Government of the Russian Federation where she got the qualification of "teacher-researcher". Maria represents the interests of large Russian companies in proceedings in the ICAC at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Commercial Arbitration magazine and is the author of publications on issues of Russian and foreign law.
