Courses in International Arbitration by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Russian Arbitration Center
On 18 October 2019, the Russian Arbitration Center hosted the third CIArb Introductory Course to International Commercial Arbitration. Participants from Russia, Hungary, UK, Cyprus and Italy attended a full-day lecture delivered by the distinguished course leader George Lambrou (Partner at Keystone Law, London, FCIArb). The previous courses organized by the Russian Arbitration Center and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in December 2017 and August 2018 received positive feedback.
The CIArb Course “Module 1. Law Practice & Procedure of International Arbitration” started on 19 October 2019 with the workshop covering such topics as the history of arbitration, arbitration agreements, the commencement of arbitration, formation of arbitral tribunal, etc. The next workshops of the Module 1 will take place in November and December 2019. Participants who will pass an exam on 12 December 2019 may acquire the Membership of CIArb (MCIArb).
