The Fifth Eastern Economic Forum-2019 in Vladivostok

The fifth Eastern Economic Forum-2019 will take place in Vladivostok from 4th to 6th of September. The Forum is aimed to promote economic development of the Far East and to broaden international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.

Within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University hosts panel sessions, roundtables, televised debates, business breakfasts, and business dialogues devoted to Russia’s international economic relations. The fourth Eastern Economic Forum-2018 was attended by more than 6000 delegates from 60 countries.

Andrey Gorlenko, Executive Administrator of the Russian Arbitration Center, will take part in the Forum. He will participate in the discussion “Special Administrative Regions: One Year on” (4 September, 12:30 – 14:00) and in a session “Ensuring a Sustainable Framework to Attract and Protect Investment: Drawing on Russia and Singapore’s Experience in the Global and Regional Context” (6 September, 10:00 – 11:30). Andrey Gorlenko will outline the results of activities of the Far Eastern Division of the Russian Arbitration Center (in Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk) and its perspectives for development.
