On November 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the RAC will host its traditional panel discussion, “Dialogue with Judges,” as part of Dubai Arbitration Week.
The event was first held in 2024 and brought together judges and arbitration practitioners from the MENA region. The following year, the dialogue continued in an even broader comparative format.
Over time, the discussions evolved from a regional focus on the relationship between courts and arbitration to a broader comparative exchange on judicial approaches, legal traditions and the role of courts in supporting arbitration. The strong interest in this initiative has encouraged us to further develop the project.
This year, the event will be held under the title: "Dialogue with Judges: Judicial Support for Arbitration in a Changing World." Representatives of the judicial community from different legal systems will discuss how fundamental issues of arbitration are responding to current challenges and trends and examine recent shifts in the relationship between international arbitration and state courts and the impact of international courts on the legal landscape.
Among the speakers are:
The speakers line-up will be updated.
A question-and-answer session will be held at the end of the discussion. Following its conclusion, participants will be invited to continue the exchange in a more informal setting.
